In a major executive shakeup, two longtime Lifetime Television programming executives left the company Wednesday as the network begins to realign its programming department under new Lifetime Entertainment Services entertainment president Susanne Daniels.
Eight-year senior vice president of programming Kelly Goode and senior VP of reality programming Bill Brand both announced their departures from the company, three weeks after the network hired former WB Television Network executive Daniels to spearhead its programming division.
A Lifetime spokesperson said the network wished both executives well, but it would not comment further on “personnel matters.” The spokesperson also would not say if and when replacements would be named.
Goode created several projects for the network, including its ongoing original scripted series, Missing, while Brand oversaw the development of such reality series as How Clean Is Your House, as well as the Golden Girls and Designing Women reunions.
