Tut Systems will debut enhancements to its Astria product line at the TelcoTV 2006 conference at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Conference Center in Grapevine, Texas, Nov. 6-8.
The vendor will detail new functionalities for its Astria content-processor and video-services-processor lines, which enable the delivery of next-generation data and video services over broadband networks.
Among improvements Tut will demonstrate:
• T-1.5 IMA (inverse multiplexing over asynchronous transfer mode) interfaces on the CP for ingest of local content at the edge of a carrier’s network;
• IP forward-error correction embedded into a commercial IP set-top;
• A new four-port gigabit-Ethernet-line module for its VSP; and
• Unified element management for its CP and VSP using its T-View element-management system.
