John Trentos has been promoted to senior vice president, sponsor-channel origination at GE Commercial Finance Global Sponsor Finance and Global Media & Communications.

Trentos has been with GE since 1995, focusing on the telecommunications, media and technology sectors since 2001,

In his new post, he will be responsible for providing debt and lease financing for private-equity-sponsored transactions in the telecommunications, media and entertainment sectors.
