After revealing a new slate of programming to air on the Travel Channel at its upfront presentation, Scripps Networks revealed a host of web series to debut on the network's accompanying site TravelChannel.com. From its NewFronts event in New York, TravelChannel.com revealed it has ordered nine new original web series and renewed four web series to debut on the site in 2014.
The newly-ordered web series range in terms of length and webisodes ordered, but most are around the 3-4 minute mark. All offer insights to diverse places and people around the world. Greenlit new series include American beer show Microbrew Madness, competition series Next Travel Channel Star and Off Road Trippin’: Texas.
Returning series include the third season of A Day in the Life, TravelChannel.com’s highly ranked and critically-acclaimed online series. The additional returning series are Gear Guide, Ghost Fit, and Host's Hometown.
