Travel Channel will make a rare primetime departure into entertainment
biography April 29, running Lucy! TV's Comedy Queen, a special on
comedienne Lucille Ball's career.
The show features interviews with some of Ball's colleagues on I Love
Lucy, The Lucy Show and other TV projects.
A release issued at press time did not detail why the special was suited for
Travel Channel play. However, the network has done well over the past year with
TV Road Trip and other specials presenting destinations highlighted in
classic TV shows and films.
