TNT, TBS Add More Jordan

TBS Superstation will telecast superstar Michael Jordan's return to the
National Basketball Association Oct. 30 when his new team, the Washington
Wizards, opens its regular-season schedule against the New York Knicks.

The game is part of five additional Wizards telecasts Turner Sports has
picked up from the league. Turner Network Television will telecast the Nov. 1
Wizards-Atlanta Hawks, Nov. 7 Wizards-Boston Celtics and Nov. 22 Wizards-Indiana
Pacers games. The network was already scheduled to telecast the Nov. 28
Wizards-Philadelphia 76ers game.

TBS will telecast the Nov. 20 Charlotte Hornets-Wizards game.

Turner Sports senior vice president of public relations Greg Hughes said
Turner could still add as many as 10 more Wizards games during the season.

By contract, TBS and TNT together can air up to 15 games of any one team
during the regular season.

'We're doing this on a piecemeal basis, and we'll work
with the NBA about additional games,' he said. 'We know [Jordan's] return will
be of huge fan interest, and it will be very strong for both TBS Superstation
and TNT.'
