Continuing its programming makeover, TNN: The National Network will add three
original series and several popular off-network and syndicated shows in
The three original skeins are: TNN's Pop Across America, a weekly
series hosted by comedian Steve Marmel; TNN's Robot Wars, a
gladiator-style series pitting robots against each other; and TNN's Ultimate
Revenge, a comedic reality series centering on the lengths to which people
will go in order to get back at their friends and family.
The three programs will join two previously announced original series
debuting this summer -- TNN's Small Shots and TNN's Lifegame --
the network announced during its upfront presentation.
TNN should score with Trekkies this year when it introduces the three spinoff
series from the popular science-fiction franchise: Star Trek: The Next
Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek:
The network will also bow popular syndicated series Baywatch in 2001,
while CBS series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation comes aboard in
