TiVo Scores RadioShack Deal

TiVo said Tuesday that a new retail distribution dea it cut with RadioShack will see the company’s digital-video recorders show up on the shelves of 3,000 RadioShack stores nationwide.

RadioShack said it would carry the new TiVo Series2 dual-tuner DVR, in addition to the TiVo Wireless Adapter which allows TiVo customers to hook up a TiVo box to a wireless network.

“Partnering with RadioShack will increase the distribution and penetration of our TiVo DVRs, particularly among the 42.5 million analog cable households,” TiVo CEO Tom Rogers said.
