Time Warner Shreveport Opens Access

Time Warner Cable's Shreveport, La., division launched EarthLink Inc.'s
'EarthLink High Speed Internet' service and America Online Inc.'s 'AOL High
Speed Broadband' Monday as part of the MSO's ongoing open-access initiative.

EarthLink has more than 532,000 high-speed customers, the company said in a
press release. It offers a home-networking service that allows subscribers to
share high-speed accounts across multiple computers in homes.

EarthLink will also provide Shreveport-specific content to local Time Warner
customers.

AOL High Speed Broadband offers exclusive multimedia content, including video
news, sports, movie previews and cartoons. AOL dial-up customers can also bring
their electronic-mail addresses over to the high-speed service.

Time Warner's Shreveport division serves 63,000 customers in parts of
Louisiana and East Texas.
