New York— A&E Television Networks said it has established a new integrated marketing department in an effort to further drive cross-platform sales.
Headed by industry veteran Bruce Thomas, the unit will develop marketing partnerships with advertisers across four networks — A&E Network, The History Channel, Biography Channel and History Channel International — as well as Biography
magazine and the company's Internet sites.
Thomas, formerly of Tele-Communications Inc. and AT&T Media Services, most recently worked as senior vice president of sales for One-MediaPlace (now Mediapassage), an Internet media-transaction facilitator.
