Pete Sampras may have retired from tennis Monday, but the all-time Grand Slam champion lives on -- on The Tennis Channel.
The fledgling service, which carried the Aug. 25 press conference in which Sampras officially announced his retirement, will showcase vintage matches this week, beginning Tuesday night at 8 p.m. (ET).
Those classic confrontations include Pistol Pete knocking out Yevgeny Kafelnikov and Mark Philippoussis in Davis Cup ties during 1995 and 1997, respectively.
Additionally, Tennis Channel will air encore editions of its signature No Strings series, profiling Sampras.
Sampras is an investor in the service.
