Telemundo's mun2 Raises The Roof

Weeknights on mun2 Television, Telemundo's bilingual cable network, will become largely live and music-driven as of Dec. 9.

The channel is preparing The Roof, a two-hour mixture of live dance music and hip-hop performances, music news, concert recaps and interviews, running from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Most of the program will originate from Miami, with segments coming from New York and Los Angeles.

Felix Sama, host of mun2's UpBeat, will carry on from Miami, while hip-hop radio host and record-label cofounder Khool-Aid will handle the Los Angeles portions and Proyecto Uno lead singer Magic Juan will host from New York.

Viewer call-in and electronic-mail features will take place throughout the show.

A variety of music and interview half-hour series currently occupy the time period, and they will be moved to other dayparts when The Roof begins, according to a mun2 spokesperson.
