Weeknights on mun2 Television, Telemundo's bilingual cable network, will become largely live and music-driven as of Dec. 9.
The channel is preparing The Roof, a two-hour mixture of live dance music and hip-hop performances, music news, concert recaps and interviews, running from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Most of the program will originate from Miami, with segments coming from New York and Los Angeles.
Article continues belowFelix Sama, host of mun2's UpBeat, will carry on from Miami, while hip-hop radio host and record-label cofounder Khool-Aid will handle the Los Angeles portions and Proyecto Uno lead singer Magic Juan will host from New York.
Viewer call-in and electronic-mail features will take place throughout the show.
A variety of music and interview half-hour series currently occupy the time period, and they will be moved to other dayparts when The Roof begins, according to a mun2 spokesperson.
