TBS Superstation will take the wraps off a new film franchise Oct. 3 when it
bows 'The Movie Break' at 8 p.m.
Launching with Disclosure, the franchise -- hosted by Mike Siegel
(24, Traffic) and Lesley Ann Machado (Univision Communications
Inc.'s Control) -- will also include interstitials that will feature news
from the world of movies, TV, music, the Internet and video games.
TBS has had success with film showcases with such vehicles as 'Dinner & a
Movie' and 'The Man-Made Movie.'
The network will also bow 'The Movie Bowl' Sept. 14 as part of its 'Big Play
Saturday' initiative that teams college football up with a following
film.
