Tandberg Television has hired Terry Lee, formerly head of BigBand Networks’ North American sales, as senior vice president of sales and ex-NDS executive Ian Tapp to senior vice president of business development.
Both Lee and Tapp will report directly to Tandberg Americas president Al Nuñez.
Prior to BigBand, Lee was an executive manager with Scientific Atlanta responsible for strategic sales and business development for cable. He has also worked in sales roles at Texas Instruments and Amphenol.
Tapp spent 13 years at News Corp.’s NDS subsidiary, where he most recently was vice president of business development and marketing.
Tandberg was acquired earlier this year by telecom-equipment vendor Ericsson.
