Super Week for Superstation
TBS Superstation donned the primetime-ratings crown last week, sweeping the
household-delivery and key adult-demo categories, according to a Turner analysis
of Nielsen Media Research data.
Boosted by airings of Sandra Bullock theatrical Miss Congeniality July
6, TBS averaged 2.27 million viewers 2-plus. The network averaged 661,000
watchers among adults 18-34, 1.25 million viewers 18-49 and 1.14 million viewers
25-54.
Turner Network Television, USA Network, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon
finished Nos. 2 through 5, respectively, in terms of 2-plus delivery June
30-July 6.
Rounding out the top 10: Lifetime Television, A&E Network, The New TNN
(soon to be Spike TV), The Learning Channel and Discovery
Channel.
