Sundance Showcases Young Talent

Sundance Channel will showcase the current generation of actors with a series
of eight theatricals in September under the "Red Hot and Cool" banner.

The network will deliver a double feature every Saturday night in September,
beginning at 9 p.m.

The showcase begins Sept. 6 with the TV premiere of Pumpkin, starring
Christina Ricci (Prozac Nation). Swimming, starring Lauren Ambrose
(Six Feet Under), also makes its TV bow Sept. 20 at 9 p.m.

Chopper, starring Eric Bana (The Hulk), airs Sept. 6 at 11 p.m.,
while Sundance puts Ryan Gosling in the spotlight Sept. 13 with The Slaughter
Rule
and The Believer at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m., respectively.

In addition to Swimming, Born Romantic -- with Olivia Williams
(Rushmore), Paddy Considine (24 Hour Party People), Craig Ferguson
(Saving Grace) and Catherine McCormack (Shadow of the Vampire) --
is scheduled Sept. 20 at 10:35 p.m.

The final two films in the series Sept. 27: Ghost World (Thora Birch
and Steve Buscemi) and Burnt Money (Leonardo Sbaraglia and Eduardo
Noriega).
