Sundance Promotes Kunken To Vice President Digital Media

Sundance Channel has elevated Jeff Kunken to vice president, digital media and creative development. 

In his new post, Kunken will continue to oversee Sundance Channel's Web site, including content strategy, production and overall site design.

Kunken joined Sundance Channel in 2006 as director, digital media and creative development. Since joining the network, he has overseen the award-winning redesign of sundancechannel.com, expanded the channel’s original content across all digital platforms. He also produced award-winning minisites, including those for Iconoclasts and Live From Abbey Road. More recently, he has launched Eco-mmunity and the eco-newsletter, the Greenzine, and been integral in the development of other mini-sites, including ones for Green Porno and The Good Fight.

“Jeff has been instrumental in the expansion and development of Sundance Channel’s digital media efforts.  His creative leadership and management skills have positioned us well for future growth and expansion,” said Christopher Barry, senior vice president, digital media and business strategy, to whom Kunken will continue to report.  

Prior to joining Sundance Channel, Kunken was vice president, Allen Technologies/Gen.com. Kunken has also spent time as executive producer at Major League Baseball and was a writer, show creator and series developer at MTV, Cartoon Network, 4KIDS productions
