SundanceTV has promoted Rob Friedman from vice president to senior vice president, programming and scheduling. Friedman joined SundanceTV in 2012 after serving as senior vice president of programming at MTV Networks/Spike TV.
"We are thrilled to recognize Rob's achievements with this well-deserved promotion. He has impressively helped transition SundanceTV to an add supported, multi-platform world, all while elevating and amplifying our buzzy and distinctive original programming," said Sarah Barnett, president and general manager for SundanceTV, in a statement.
Friedman will continue reporting to Barnett in his new role, which includes scheduling programming across all of SundanceTV's distribution outlets.
