Study: U.S. Broadband Penetration Reaches 53%

published Broadband penetration in U.S. households reached 53%, according to new consumer research from Leichtman Research Group.
LRG added that broadband services currently account for about 72% of all home Internet subscriptions versus 60% last year.
According to LRG’s study, 68% of households with annual incomes over $50,000 currently subscribe to broadband compared with 59% last year, while 39% of households with annual incomes under $50,000 get broadband versus 27% last year.
