Starz Encore Group LLC said Monday that it has gained expanded carriage for
its premium-movie channels on the Millennium Digital Media system in Anne
Arundel County, Md.
The operator's new digital tier includes 29 screens of channels in the Starz
Encore 'Super Pak.' The digital package also includes 25 digital-basic channels,
and it costs $15.95 per month on top of the monthly basic cable cost of
$32.50.
Among the digital-basic channels are ESPNews, The Biography Channel, Noggin,
Discovery Science Channel and Techtv.
The digital package also includes an interactive program guide, 40 channels
of digital music and access to 34 pay-per-view channels.
The Millennium system serves more than 56,000 customers.
