Sci Fi Channel's season premiere of Stargate SG-1 pulled a 1.9 rating
Friday night, according to Nielsen Media Research, making it the highest-rated
season premiere of any series in the network's history.
It also drew more viewers than any episode of Stargate in its entire
cable run.
Stargate originally aired on premium network Showtime.
