Less than a week after airing the final episode of season four, Spike TV has renewed Auction Hunters fora fifth season. The network ordered 20 episodes of the show, which will feature stars Allen Haff and Ton Jones expanding beyond their usual storage auctions to find deals in places like cattle auctions and police auctions.
Auction Hunters is Spike TV’s longest running non-scripted original series. It has aided Spike TV’s growth, improving its 9 p.m. Saturday time slot by 25% for Adults 18-34. The most recent season averaged 1.5 million viewers.
“We are thrilled to bring back another season of Auction Hunters which after four years, continues to resonate with our growing gender-balanced audience,” said Sharon Levy, Executive Vice President, Original Series, Spike TV, in a release.
