Sonnenberg Heads Entertainment at E!

E! Networks has named industry veteran Mark Sonnenberg to the newly created
position of executive vice president, entertainment, the company announced
Thursday.

In his new post, Sonnenberg will oversee all aspects of E! Networks' content,
including original productions, programming, acquisitions, talent, creative and
administration.

Sonnenberg's appointment reunites him with E! Networks president and CEO
Mindy Herman. The pair worked together at Fox and at pay-per-view purveyor In
Demand L.L.C.

Most recently executive vice president, content and marketing for Intertainer
Inc., Sonnenberg's career also stopped at In Demand, where as executive vice
president of entertainment he was responsible for all of the service's
programming functions.

Sonnenberg's resume also includes a six-year stint at Fox, principally with
FX Networks. As senior vice president, programming, he played a key role in the
launch of FX and Fox Movie Channel.

'We're pleased to have Mark join our talented team at E! Networks -- a team
that has truly grown the company into a thriving business over the past decade,'
E! Networks chief operating officer Ken Bettsteller said in a prepared
statement.

'Looking to the future, Mark will definitely play an integral role in our
evolution by spearheading the overall programming and content activities for E!
[Entertainment Television] and Style, both domestically and worldwide,' he
added.
