Cable veteran Bill Daniels and his Daniels Fund charity are being recognized by the Smithsonian Institution.
The Sea-Air Operations gallery at the National Air and Space Museum's flagship building on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., will be dedicated to the memory of the naval aviator, entrepreneur and philanthropist.
The honor is in recognition of a $3 million legacy grant by the Daniels Fund, the largest charity in the Rocky Mountain region.
The gallery will be formally dedicated at a private event Monday, Nov. 28.
