Tiny Callais Cablevision in Grand Isle, La., has been hit with a whopping
$133,000 fine by the Federal Communications Commission over its signal-leakage
rules.
The commission said the system, which serves about 12,000 subscribers,
'showed almost a complete disregard for the rules designed to protect
air-traffic safety.'
Executive Corey Callais did not return calls for comment. The company has
until Feb. 19 to appeal the fine.
