SkyForum to Host DBS CEOs

The leading direct-broadcast satellite CEOs will converge on New York City
next month at the semi-annual SkyForum hosted by the Satellite Broadcasting
& Communications Association.

EchoStar Communications Corp. chairman Charlie Ergen, DirecTV Inc. chairman
Eddy Hartenstein, Pegasus Communications Corp. chairman Mark Pagon and National
Rural Telecommunications Cooperative CEO Bob Phillips will square off during a
DBS CEO roundtable at the April 30 event.

EchoStar and DirecTV parent Hughes Electronics Corp. are awaiting government
approval on their proposed merger.

Pegasus and the NRTC have filed public comments opposing the merger, stating
that a combined DBS company would reduce multichannel competition in rural
America.

SkyForum will also present panels on satellite radio, broadband Internet
services, premium programming and basic networks, as well as views from Wall
Street analysts who follow the DBS industry.

Home Box Office chairman Jeff Bewkes will give a keynote address.
