Showtime Funds Films from Ground Zero

Showtime Networks Inc. said Tuesday that it has selected nine finalists from
the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University to produce films about the
aftermath of Sept. 11.

In partnership with the Kanbar Institute of Film and Television at NYU,
Showtime has created 'Visions from Ground Zero,' a project designed to help fund
production of the films and then air them on the first anniversary of the
attacks against the World Trade Center.

Kanbar Institute master teacher Julie Corman approached Showtime with the
concept as a way to help her film students reach out to victims of the
attack.
