Lifetime’s hour-long drama series Witches of East Endwas renewed by the network in November 2013, and the second season of the series is expected to debut this summer.
The scripted series, based on Melissa de la Cruz’s book of the same name, stars Julia Ormond, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Rachel Boston and Mädchen Amick as a family of witches in the fictional town of East End. Christian Cooke also joins the cast as a series regular for the upcoming season.
According to Lifetime, the series averaged 3.0 million total viewers in its first season, which ran for 10 episodes. Lifetime ordered 13 episodes for the second season of the series.
The season two premiere of Witches of East End is scheduled for Sunday, July 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
