C. Michael Schroeder has agreed to join EchoStar Communications Corp.’s board of directors, effective immediately.
Schroeder, a founder of Consumer Satellite Systems Inc. in 1981, is currently retired.
Direct-broadcast satellite provider EchoStar’s board now has eight members.
