Showtime has enlisted comedian and actress Sarah Silverman to join the cast of Masters of Sex. Silverman will play the role of Helen, a recurring guest character, when the series returns for its second season on Sunday, July 13.
The show, an hour-long drama starring Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as human sexuality pioneers William Masters and Virginia Johnson, returns after a successful 12-episode first season. Season two of the series is currently in production in Los Angeles.
Silverman’s ongoing projects include her JASH collective’s sketch comedy series, which is scheduled to air alongside Xbox's recently announced programming on its new platform.
