Rogers Enters SCTE Hall of Fame

Quality RF Services Inc. president Fred Rogers was inducted into the Society
of Cable Telecommunications Engineers' Hall of Fame at an awards luncheon Monday
during the SCTE's Cable-Tec Expo in Philadelphia.

Since 1978, Rogers has worked to help train industry technicians, traveling
to SCTE chapter meetings in 49 states to share his knowledge of unity gain,
noise and distortion and outage mitigation.

He has conducted an estimated 300 training sessions, reaching nearly 10,000
technicians throughout the industry.

"Plenty of people do a good job for their company and involve the SCTE in
their work activity," SCTE Hall of Fame member and General Communication Inc.
chief technology officer Dan Pike said in a release, "but Fred contributed for
the good of the industry."
