Denver-Colorado-based Internet Service Provider RMI.NET Inc. will participate in Time Warner Cable's open-access trial in Columbus, Ohio. RMI.NET is the second publicly announced ISP to join the multiple-provider trial, after Juno Online Services Inc.
RMI.NET also signed on for AT&T Broadband's multiple-ISP trial in Boulder, Colo., slated to begin next month. Nine of the 10 ISPs in that trial are to be named this week, officials said. AT & T also said it expects to conduct a second access trial next year, in Boston.
