Restaurant chain Red Lobster announced Friday that it will be the presenting
sponsor of Offshore Adventures, a 26-week travel/outdoor-adventure series
slated to bow on Outdoor Life Network Saturday.
As part of the agreement with Fischer Productions, the series' full title
will be Offshore Adventures, Presented by Red Lobster.
In addition, each half-hour episode will feature a two-minute cooking
vignette called 'Gourmet Galley presented by Red Lobster,' Fischer president
Chris Fischer said.
The casual-dining chain views the sponsorship as an extension of its $60
million 'Go Overboard' ad campaign, which includes seaside footage.
The companies said in a press release that Offshore Adventures will
'entertain and educate viewers on fishing, diving and snorkeling while
showcasing the rich marine environment and landscape of isolated islands.'
