'Raven’ Scent Meant for Tween Sensibilities

It smells like teen spirit at The Walt Disney Co.

Disney Consumer Products and licensees Townley Cosmetics and boom! last Thursday introduced a new fragrance and cosmetics collection for “tween” girls under the That’s So Raven brand, with the help of Raven-Symone, star of the Disney Channel series.

Disney said the products will be available at May, Wal-Mart, Limited Too and Claire’s stores, as well as specialty retailers nationwide, beginning in October.

That’s So Raven has surpassed Hillary Duff-vehicle Lizzie McGuire in terms of key ratings metrics as Disney Channel’s most popular original series, and is the first show in the network’s history to begin production on a fourth season, which will push its total to 100 episodes.
