Cable shopping giant QVC said Monday that it would expand its proprietary
Diamonique jewelry line through distribution at 991 Target Corp. stores
Target will tag its retail display cases with the QVC brand and promote the
jewelry line in its newspaper circulars. In return, QVC will run on-air spots
promoting the Target deal in April.
QVC executive vice president of merchandising Darlene Daggett said in a press
release that Target's heavy foot traffic would bring good exposure 'for one of
our most popular proprietary brands.'
