Popcornflix, a free movie and TV streaming app, has launched on Sony's Playstation3 and Playstation4 platforms in the U.S. and Canada.
A Latin American launch on the gaming consoles is planned for later this year, Popcornflix said.
An ad-supported service, Popcornflix has rights to TV shows including Trailer Park Boys, NatGeo's Wild Justice and Alaska State Troopers, and Canadian sci-fi series Re:Genesis.
Popcornflix is owned by New York-based distributor Screen Media Ventures.
