Playboy to Unveil `Reality' Series

Playboy TV has begun production on a new original series, 7 Lives
Exposed
, the network announced Monday.

The weekly half-hour skein, which will premiere on the premium adult network
Oct. 21, combines elements of the reality genre with scripted drama. Playboy is
developing 13 episodes of the series, which will also have a companion Web
component being produced concurrently through Playboy.com

The series takes place in a loft in Los Angeles' Silver Lake district, where
seven young adults seek fame and fortune by having their sex lives broadcast
daily on the Web with views from 40 cyber cameras. The series also delves into
the personalities beyond the passion that erupt amid these intimate
quarters.

'7 Lives Exposed is our most unusual original project to date,'
Playboy Entertainment Group Inc. executive vice president of production Sol
Weisel said in a prepared statement.

'We took the most interesting elements of reality television and combined
them with scripted drama and a very sexy young cast,' he added. 'This
combination has created a unique and very sensual series that will provoke
heated audience reactions week after week.'
