Royal Philips Electronics has shifted Paul Zeven from CEO of Philips Consumer Electronics in Latin America to CEO of Philips North America.
Zeven has been with the company since 1970.
He succeeds Rob Westerhof, who retired from Philips in July.
"As chief executive for Philips Electronics in North America, Paul will play a key role in expanding our presence in the marketplace as a leader in healthcare, lifestyle and technology," Philips chief financial officer Jan Hommen said in a prepared statement. Zeven reports to Hommen.
