AMC Networks-owned streaming service Acorn TV has named Kerensa Samanidis as general manager, a new post. Based in London, she is a former executive with FilmStruck and had been a consultant to the service.

Justin Connolly
has been named president, media distribution at The Walt Disney Co., responsible for company-wide media sales and channel distribution. He was executive VP, affiliate sales and marketing, Disney and ESPN Media Networks.

Karen Bronzo
was named New York-based senior vice president, marketing, at HGTV, adding oversight of brand strategy and on-air/off-channel creative to her duties. She had been VP, ad sales marketing.

Lily Neumeyer was promoted to executive vice president, development, at MTV in New York, responsible for the unscripted slate and development at MTV, VH1, CMT, Logo and MTV Studios. She was senior VP, development for MTV and VH1.

Nickelodeon has tapped Jenny Wall as chief marketing officer, responsible for on- and off-air efforts across all platforms. She comes from Spotify unit Gimlet Media, where she was chief marketing officer and head of Gimlet Creative.

Michael Engleman
has joined Showtime Networks in Los Angeles as chief marketing officer, also responsible for Pop TV and Smithsonian Channel. He comes from WarnerMedia, where he was chief marketing officer of TBS and TNT.
