AMC NETWORKS

AMC Networks has elevated Georgia Juvelis and Jim Maiella to senior vice president, co-head of corporate communications, effective January 2017. The two executives succeed AMC Networks executive VP and chief communications officer Ellen Kroner, who will retire at year-end.

THE ARTERY

New York-based The Artery has added Yaron Tsinman as creative director of its experiential unit. He comes from Noniku, where he was founder and creative director.

DISCOVERY

Michael Lang was promoted to president, international development, digital and Discovery Nordics at Discovery Networks International, adding responsibility for Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland and based in London. He will continue to manage DNI’s corporate development and digital efforts outside the U.S.

Also, Discovery Communications has elevated Jhamal Robinson to senior vice president, production management, from VP; and Heather Sokolow to vice president, production management, from director.

ENTERTAINMENT STUDIOS

Entertainment Studios has tapped Michael Clark as vice president, advertising sales of TheGrio, a digital video-centric community platform aimed at African-Americans and based in New York. He has held national sales positions with such companies as The Root/Univision, Mediaspike, Washington Post Digital and Interactive One/Radio One.

HFN

Communications management company Hudson Fiber Network has added Kevin Errity as senior vice president of sales. He comes from Windstream, where he was president of the East region.

IDEAL SYSTEMS

Aniket Rangnekar has joined broadcast systems integrator Ideal Systems as head of its Ideal Live service for live events and VR content production in Southeast Asia. He comes from Grass Valley Belden, where he was senior solutions architect for live production.

ITN

Michael Welsh has joined ITN Productions in Washington, D.C., as vice president of production and development for North American operations. He comes from National Geographic, where he was executive producer of production and development at National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Wild.

NBCUNIVERSAL

Carol Nygren was named vice president of worldwide live entertainment at NBCUniversal. She comes from Fathom Events, where she led programming efforts for alternative content in cinemas worldwide.

NICKELODEON

Joshua Braunstein has been elevated to senior vice president, Nickelodeon Corporate Promotion and Movie Advertising. He had been VP.

PIXELDUST

Veteran executive producer and showrunner Lawrence Cumbo has joined Bethesda, Md.-based digital animation and broadcast production studio Pixeldust as senior vice president, development and content.

SPIKE

Chaz Gray has joined Spike’s Original Series team as executive producer of current. He had been an executive producer on such reality shows as Top Chef, 36 Hours and The Real Housewives of Orange County 100th Episode Special.

UNIVISION

Brett Erlich has been named vice president of sponsorship sales at UCI Live, the events and activation arm of Univision Communications’ Univision Enterprises unit. He comes from Ascendent Sports Group, where he was VP of global partnerships.
