Also, Chris Loveall was named as vice president, international programming at AMC and SundanceTV. He had been VP, original programming at Pivot.

Crown Media Family Networks has named Penny Perry as vice president, casting, based in Studio City, Calif., and responsible to attracting popular, high-caliber actors to programming on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Formerly with Larry Levinson Productions, she has cast more than 150 Hallmark Channel movies and several miniseries for Syfy.

Frank Capria has been named chief product and marketing officer at EuclidIQ, a Concord, Mass.-based video compression and encoding firm. He had been director of product management at Avid Technology.

Spanish-language broadcaster LBI Media has named Scott Haugenes as senior vice president of network sales, helming Estrella TV’s national sales and marketing teams. He had held senior roles at ad agency Initiative, digital content firm Generate and media companies The Walt Disney Co. and Warner Bros.
MACHINIMA
Machinima, the digital service focused on gamer and “fandom” culture, has named Gary King and Dave Pullano as directors of development. King comes from Disney/ABC Cable Networks group, where he was manager of alternative programming and new media content. Pullano was a consulting showrunner and executive producer at Machinima.
NETFLIX
Bela Bajaria has joined Netf lix as vice president of content. She is the former presidnet of Universal Television and had been senior VP of cable programming for CBS Television Studios.
ORIGINAL PRODUCTIONS
Aryan Peymani has joined Original Productions in Los Angeles as senior vice president of finance. He comes from Lionsgate, where he was director of financial and strategic planning.
SCOOTER BRAUN
James Shin has been named vice president of content development at Scooter Braun’s SB Projects unit in Los Angeles. He had been a development executive at TriStar Pictures.

The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers/International Society of Broadband Experts has named Tom Adams to its board of directors. Adams, a 30-year cable veteran, is currently executive VP, field operations at Charter Communications.
T. HOWARD FOUNDATION
Jonathan Hargis, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Charter Communications, has been elected to the board of the T. Howard Foundation, Silver Spring, Md.- based industry diversity advocacy group.
TRUTV
TruTV has elevated a pair of programming executives, Angel Annussek and Lesley Goldman, to the newly created role of senior vice president of development and original programming. Annussek had formerly served as a VP and an executive producer at the network; Goldman’s prior role was as VP of original programming.

Christian Kurz has advanced to senior vice president, global consumer insights at Viacom, adding oversight of domestic corporate and consumer research and insights. He had formerly served in the role of senior VP, research, insights and reporting at Viacom International Media Networks.
