Deanne R. Stedem has joined Crown Media Family Networks as executive vice president of business affairs & general counsel, replacing the retiring Charlie Stanford. She comes from parent Hallmark Cards, where she was associate general counsel.

Also, Mark J. Kern has rejoined Crown as senior vice president, corporate communications & media relations.

Sean Hanrahan has been elevated to senior vice president, brand and marketing solutions at ESPN, adding brand marketing to his portfolio of responsibilities.

LOUD TV

Glen Freyer has joined Loud TV, part of ITV America’s Leftfield Entertainment Group, as New York-based senior vice president, development. He comes from Bobby Flay’s Rock Shrimp Productions, where he was executive VP, development.

VIACOM

Viacom’s Viacom Velocity and Velocity Products Group has elevated five executives: Chris Ficarra to executive vice president, integrated marketing for music & entertainment, Velocity; Deborah Brett to senior vice president, Velocity Products Group; Chris Cereda to senior vice president, creative and branded content, Velocity; Lydia Daly to senior vice president, social media and branded content strategy, Velocity; and Beth Trentacoste, senior vice president, creative and branded content, Velocity.

VOLICON

Verizon Digital Media Services unit Volicon has added Van Balasundaram as systems engineer, based in Sutton, U.K. He comes from Digital TV Labs, where he was director of marketing.

WEATHER

The Weather Channel has added Barbara Bekkedahl as senior vice president of ad sales. She comes from NBCUniversal, where she had served as vice president of client solutions.

WGN AMERICA

Jon Wax was elevated to executive vice president, original programming at WGN America and Tribune Studios. He had been senior VP, scripted programming, and will continue to oversee all scripted development.

WWE

Julia Jensen has joined WWE in Stamford, Conn., as vice president, brand. She comes from toymaker Mattel, where she most recently served as VP of global brands communications.
