AMC Networks has elevated Allison Clarke to senior vice president of advertising sales at WE tv and IFC, adding a second network to her scope of responsibility. She joined the programmer in 2008 as VP of national ad sales at WE tv.


The Consumer Technology Association has promoted a trio of executives to vice president: Kara Dickerson to VP, strategic partnerships and conferences; Ellen Savage to VP, membership programs; and Tyler Suiters to VP, communications.


Vera Buzanello has been named executive vice president and general manager of Discovery Networks Iberia, responsible for Spain and Portugal and based in Madrid. She comes from Discovery Latin America, where she led distribution strategy and affiliate relations and where she will retain oversight of key strategic distribution relationships for the region.


Pirjo Tuomi has joined Guavus in San Mateo, Calif., as vice president of sales, cable. She comes from Aurora Networks (now part of Arris), where she was VP of sales.


Deborah Henderson has joined Insurrection Media in Los Angeles as general counsel and head of production, overseeing all aspects of corporate, legal and business affairs. She comes from Zodiac Americas, where she was general counsel.


Pop promoted several executives on the heels of its rebrand from TV Guide Network: Nicole Sabatini advanced to executive vice president, marketing; Michelle Habel was upped to senior vice president, business and legal affairs; Michael Rissetto was promoted to senior vice president, ad sales pricing and planning; and Hillary Povar was upped to vice president, communications.


The Society for Cable Telecommunications Engineers and its global arm, the International Society of Broadband Experts, has named Zenita Henderson as director, marketing operations and business development. The longtime cable veteran most recently served as senior marketing manager at Arris.


Preschool network Sprout has named Amy Friedman as senior vice president, programming and development, based in New York. She had been senior adviser for Scratch, described as Viacom’s “creative S.W.A.T team,” and was president of brand creation and content development company Redhead Consulting.


John Ward has joined Tennis Channel as director of advertising sales, Midwest and Central regions, based in Chicago. He had been an account executive at NBC Sports Group, where he represented Golf Channel, NBCSN and NHL Network.


Tobin Kirk has been named managing executive producer at Los Angeles-based entertainment brand consultancy and marketing innovations agency Troika. He comes from Blind Inc., where he was an executive producer.


Todd Braverman was promoted to senior vice president, portfolio sales and client partnerships at Turner Ad Sales. He had been VP and sales manager of the Turner Emerging Consumers sales division, overseeing client relationships for Adult Swim, Cartoon Network and truTV.


Kendra Campbell-Milburn has joined TV network UP as vice president, digital. She comes from digital marketing agency TVGLA, where she was executive director, social, and developed the firm’s strategy team and social division.
