Also, Paul Cabana advanced to executive vice president, head of programming, at History and H2. He was senior VP, head of programming at H2.
AMC NETWORKS
AMC Networks has added Bernadette Simpao as vice president, corporate communications, supporting the AMC network and IFC Films. She comes from Viacom International Media Networks, where she was senior director, communications.
BBC WORLDWIDE
BBC Worldwide North America has elevated Christine Black to senior vice president, communications and events. She had been VP, communications, BBC Worldwide.
CSN MID-ATLANTIC
Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic has named Kevin Fay executive producer in its news department. Fay had been senior producer for Orion Multimedia in Denver.
The network also named Brett Line senior producer, writer and editor for its marketing and creative services department.

Catie Griggs has joined sports analytics and media monitoring firm Futures Sport & Entertainment as vice president, Americas. She comes from Turner Sports, where she worked in business development and strategies to grow the company’s integrated TV, Web and mobile offerings.

Shira Lazar has been named a contributor for HLN, based in Los Angeles. Lazar is cofounder and host of mutiplatform media company What’s Trending.

Rafael Castillo was named vice president, Latin America sales, at Acton, Mass.- based cable tech firm SeaChange International. He comes from Grass Valley, where he was senior VP, Latin America and the Caribbean.
