AMC NETWORKS

AMC Networks has named Sarah Barnett president and general manager of BBC America, a joint venture of AMC and BBC Worldwide Americas. She will maintain her role as president and GM at co-owned SundanceTV until a successor is named.

CABLEVISION

Lisa Anselmo was upped to vice president, corporate communications, at Cablevision Systems in Bethpage, N.Y. She had been senior director, corporate communications.

MSNBC

Rachel Racusen was named vice president of communications at MSNBC. She comes from the White House, where she was associate communications director.

STARZ

Amy Goldberg has joined Starz as vice president of production, based in Beverly Hills, Calif. The 20-year veteran had been an executive with Fox Family Channel, Hallmark Channel/Larry Levinson Productions and Paramount Famous Productions.

Also, Dan Myers has joined Starz as vice president, organizational development, based in Englewood, Colo. He was a senior director of human resources at the Colorado Department of Transportation.

TIME WARNER CABLE

Time Warner Cable has tapped Nancy Bauer Gonzales as executive producer of TWC News Antelope Valley in Palmdale, Calif. She comes from KCBS/KCAL-TV in Los Angeles, where she was VP and news director.

TURNER

Turner Broadcasting System has named Sal Petruzzi as senior vice president and domestic communications officer. He had been responsible for media and communications for Turner’s two primary domestic revenue divisions, as well as Turner Sports.

WEATHER

Chris Kuist has joined The Weather Co. as vice president of insight and innovation, based in New York. He comes from Viacom Media Networks, where he was senior director in the Strategic Insights and Research group.

WFN

Jim Liberatore was named president and CEO of World Fishing Network. He will retain his duties as president of KSE Media Ventures-owned Outdoor Channel; KSE is 50% owner of WFN.
