Aymeric Genty was named CEO of Alterna’TV, the Miami-based Eutelsat Americas division that distributes Hispanic TV channels to U.S. cable and Internet-protocol platforms. He comes from Eutelsat in Paris, where he was VP, sales, for France and Frenchspeaking markets.

BACK9NETWORK

Taylor Massey has joined Hartford, Conn.-based Back9Network as director of golf creative. He comes from London-based alternative golf magazine Golf Punk, where he was managing editor and U.S. licensor of the publication.

CARTOON NETWORK

Michael Ouweleen was tapped as chief marketing officer for Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Boomerang. He had formerly served as senior vice president and executive director of Cartoon Network’s Creative Group.

DELUXE

Los Angeles-based Deluxe has named Jay Chicoy as vice president and head of sales for Deluxe MediaRecall, an enterprise solution for digitizing, organizing and monetizing content. He had been director of sales, U.S. and Canada, at Getty Images.

DISCOVERY

Discovery Networks International has appointed Omar Garcia as director, Eurosport U.S. Advertising Sales. The seven-year Discovery veteran had worked international account manager, responsible for panregional ad sales in Latin America and sales to U.S.- based clients.

NAT GEO CHANNEL

National Geographic Channels International’s global content hub in London has named Mark Francis as vice president, commissioning and regional programming. He comes from Fox International Channels Asia-Pacific and Middle East, where he was VP, production and development for factual and unscripted entertainment.

Also, Maggie Rhodes was named vice president, global acquisitions and co-productions, based in London; and Emanuele Madeddu was appoined senior vice president, marketing and creative, based in Washington, D.C.

OVATION

Jodi Lipe was named senior vice president of marketing at arts network Ovation. She was executive VP, marketing at POPSUGAR and ShopStyle.

SCRIPPS

John Dailey advanced to New York-based senior vice president, corporate ad sales at Scripps Networks Interactive. He has held senior ad-sales management positions at Scripps for 14 years.

SPIKE TV

Spike TV has named Jason Jordan as chief operating officer for its Bellator MMA mixed-martial-arts franchise. He had been senior VP, digital operations, strategy & finance at Viacom Entertainment Group.

VIMN

Viacom International Media Networks has named Carlos Penzini as brand manager, Paramount Channel Latin America. He had been senior VP, strategy and business development.
