Comcast has elevated Karen Dougherty Buchholz to senior vice president, administration, from vice president.

Also, Rebecca Arbogast was promoted to senior vice president, global public policy, from vice president.

DISCOVERY

John Honeycutt was promoted to chief technology officer at Discovery Communications, based in Silver Spring, Md. He most recently served as Londonbased executive vice president and chief operating officer of Discovery Networks International.

Also, Jane Latman was promoted to general manager, Discovery Fit & Health. She will continue to serve as chief development executive of ID: Investigation Discovery.

FOX NETWORKS

Fox Networks has promoted Jessica Fang to senior vice president, distribution, national accounts from VP, national accounts; and David Espinosa to senior vice president, distribution, strategic analysis from VP, strategic analysis.

FOX SPORTS

Pete Vlastelica was upped to executive vice president of digital at Fox Sports. He had been senior vice president, having joined the company with its 2006 acquisition of Yardbarker, a website he co-founded.

KSE

KSE Media Ventures, the television and radio arm of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, has elevated Kim Carver to president and CEO of Word Fishing Network. She will retain her post as president and CEO of Denver-based regional sports network Altitude Sports & Entertainment.

Also, Dave Zur was upped to senior vice president, broadcasting and engineering, KSE Media Ventures as well as GM of the KSE Network Operations Center in Centennial, Colo.

SLICE

Slice Communications, a Philadelphia-based public relations and social media agency, has added Jenni Glenn as a public relations account supervisor. She had been vice president of communications and marketing at Sprout.

TRAVEL

Brigitte McCray was promoted to senior vice president, program planning and strategy at Travel Channel. She had been VP, programming: planning and strategy.

TRUTV

Puja Vohra was named senior vice president of marketing and digital for truTV. She comes from Oxygen Media, where she managed the network’s consumer-marketing and ad-sales team.

WARNER HORIZON

Warner Bros. Television has named Susan Rovner and Brett Paul co-presidents of its Warner Horizon Scripted Television unit, adding oversight of original scripted cable programming to their portfolio. Rovner will continue as executive vice president of development at WBTV; Paul will also continue as executive VP.

WEATHER

Dave Schwartz has rejoined The Weather Channel in Atlanta as an on-air meterologist. He had been writing a weekly weather column for the Orange County Post-Sentinel.
