Donna MacLetchie was named general manager, programming, of the joint venture between Discovery and Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines. She comes from production company Jane Street Entertainment, which she co-founded in 2011.

Angelique Yen has joined Nickelodeon as senior vice president, physical production, Nickelodeon Movies, overseeing production for all original long-form movie content including TV movies and SVOD. She comes from DreamWorks Animation.

Northland Communications, parent of Eagle Communications and Vyve Broadband, has named Andy Parrott as chief operating officer. He was senior VP of operations, technical services division at Altice USA.

Also at Discovery, Julie Morris was named senior VP, brand strategy and operations at the Gaines joint venture. She had been VP, brand research and strategy for HGTV, Food Network and Travel Channel. And John Marsicano, who led publicity efforts for Chip and Joanna Gaines’s Magnolia home lifestyle brand, will lead the venture’s publicity and communications strategy. … Nickelodeon also tapped Eddie Gamarra as vice president, studio business development, in charge of developing animated and live-action content for SVOD platforms and third party players. He was a literary manager at The Gotham Group. And Eryk Casemiro was named senior vice president of Nickelodeon Preschool. He will continue as executive producer of the network’s Rugrats reboot. … Anthony DiClemente was named executive vice president of investor relations of ViacomCBS, a role he will assume when the media companies’ merger is completed by year-end. DiClemente is currently EVP of investor relations at CBS.
