Thomas J. Reid has joined Comcast as senior executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, reporting to chairman and CEO Brian Roberts. He was chairman and managing partner at law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell.

NBC Sports Group president Pete Bevacqua was promoted to oversee the division’s entire portfolio, including NBC Olympics, production and operations. He remains responsible for programming, marketing, digital, golf and the NBC Regional Sports Networks.

Pam Gillies has joined the National Cable Television Cooperative in Lenexa, Kansas, as vice president of marketing and communications, a new post. She comes from Alpha-Graphics, where she served as VP of marketing.
